Virtual Machine Disk Codes

Virtual Machine Disk Codes

Disk identifiers are the names assigned by the compute platform.

ExampleMeaning
scsi0First SCSI disk
scsi1Second SCSI disk
sata0First SATA disk
virtio0First VirtIO disk
ide0First IDE disk
mp0First container mount point

Use the exact existing identifier for IncreaseDiskSize and ReassignDisk. For AddNewDisk, disk is an optional bus/name prefix and containers can supply mountpoint.

SHAPI documentation version 2.0.
